Located in the heart of Northern Ontario near Cochrane, Taykwa Tagamou Nation, meaning "water on high ground," is a vibrant community deeply connected to our land and heritage. Formerly known as New Post First Nation, we embraced a name that better reflects our spirit and the essence of our territory within the Moose River Basin, a critical area of Treaty 9.
